Danielle Kwon, B.A. is a Research Assistant at edCount, LLC, where she provides support to associates and senior staff in the execution of project tasks, research activities, report production, and proposal development. Ms. Kwon has aided in the data analysis and report production for a large-scale alignment evaluation in grades 3 –8 ELA for the New York State Department of Education (NYSED). Ms. Kwon has also helped orchestrate virtual item writing training sessions and webinars for the NYSED project.

Ms. Kwon received her B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University in 2017. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Kwon conducted reproductive health research in Udaipur, India and helped to create a curriculum on the topic for Seva Mandir’s Youth Resource Centers, as well as interned in Salta, Argentina where she assessed the availability of local public health resources. While a student, Ms. Kwon also tutored elementary ESL students in math and reading at two Durham public schools and El Centro Hispano. After graduation, Ms. Kwon taught first grade at KIPP DC Quest Academy as a part of the Capital Teaching Residency program in Washington, D.C. Ms. Kwon joined edCount in October 2018.
