Kila Posey, Ed.S.
Ms. Kila Posey, Ed.S., is an Associate at edCount, LLC, and supports the planning and execution of deliverables for state assessment development and evaluation projects. Ms. Posey has over 21 years of experience in education as a teacher, an education program specialist in Atlanta area public school districts, and as an educational program consultant. She has held many leadership positions in the schools where she has served including Science School Representative, Math/Science Committee Chair, County Standards Based Report Card Committee Chair, Science Olympiad Coach, and School Improvement Team member. Kila. has also worked on county and state level teams in the development and implementation of academic content standards in Georgia and coordinated and supervised an after-school academic program for three elementary schools in Atlanta.
Ms. Posey earned her Educational Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration and her Master of Arts degree in Adult Learning and Curriculum from Central Michigan University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Department of Education Certification from the University of Illinois.
