Austin Heitzinger, M.P.A., M.P.S.

Austin Heitzinger, M.P.A., M.P.S., is a Program Specialist at edCount, LLC, and provides support to associates and senior staff in the execution of project tasks, research activities, report production, and proposal development. Mr. Heitzinger also contributes his expertise in aspects of digital media creation and production as well as copywriting, editing, and data skills. Mr. Heitzinger’s experience includes work as a staff assistant/communications assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives where he performed administrative tasks, legislative research, and assisted in guiding communications strategy. As an intern for a Washington, D.C. based political affairs and public relations firm, Mr. Heitzinger helped to manage client accounts and prepared communication documents, including press releases, and media talking points.

Mr. Heitzinger received his Master of Public Administration, Public and Nonprofit Management, from the University of Central Oklahoma and his Master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University.
