Nicholas Henning, M.S.
Mr. Henning has over 12 years of experience in education, as an educator, administrator, and education data analyst. Mr. Henning’s experience encompasses lesson and curriculum planning, oversight of a high-quality academic program, and management of education data and analytics. He has strong knowledge and skills in working with education data and analytics related to assessments and reporting.
As an Associate at edCount, Mr. Henning supports the planning and execution of deliverables for state assessment development and evaluation projects, the development of research instruments, the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and authors reports and presentations. He is currently working as Lead Data Analyst for several assessment alignment evaluations and cognitive lab studies.
Prior to his employment at edCount, Mr. Henning served in the following roles:
- Education Manager of Data and Analytics for the Fusion Academy where he was responsible for the design and implementation of operational processes for enrollment and annual testing for over 75 campuses nationwide.
- Assistant Director for the Fusion Academy where he was responsible for the delivery and oversight of a high-quality academic program. This work included coordination of student testing, teacher reports, and grading to differentiate program needs for every student.
- Department Head for the Fusion Academy where he spearheaded a cognition training program rollout and supported a curriculum project in the alignment of course standards across different states for Fusion Academy’s new campuses.
- Prior to these positions, Mr. Henning served in a variety of roles in education, including math and history teacher and mentor, school data analyst, and analytical and statistical researcher.
Mr. Henning earned his B.A. in Economics and Psychology and M.S. in Economics from Tufts University.
