Announces Opening of Wyoming Office, Hires Three Associates
Washington, D.C.—edCount, LLC has opened an office in Laramie, Wyoming. Three veteran educators, all who have worked for the Wyoming Department of Education, have been hired to staff the office.
- Bill Herrera, M.S., joined edCount on Aug. 17 as an associate and mathematics specialist. Herrera worked for more than a decade as an assessment director and teacher with the Wyoming Department of Education. Among his other duties, Herrera managed the Wyoming state assessment system. With edCount, Herrera will provide leadership and support to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and the Puerto Rico Department of Education.
- Charlene Turner joined edCount on Sept. 6 as an associate and alternate assessment specialist. Turner brings with her more than 30 years of experience in education. In her most recent role as director of alternate assessment for the Wyoming Department of Education, Turner directed the statewide alternate assessment for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities. Turner will work with the National State and Center Collaborative.
